Join Dr. Sissel Schroeder for an update on the progress of the Dugout Canoe Survey. To date, the Survey has identified and documented more than 40 curated and archaeologically recovered dugouts from around Wisconsin, ranging in age from thousands of years old to within the last century. New digital techniques and old-fashioned detective work are re-writing the history of canoe travel on Wisconsin's waters.
