Energy Trends in Anaerobic Digestion

In this Sustainable Energy Seminar, Prof. Rebecca Larson, Associate Professor of Environmental Studies, will discuss current trends in biogas use for energy from anaerobic digestion. Anaerobic digestion systems produce energy in the form of biogas from organic materials. In manure systems, they also serve to reduce pathogens in manure, reduce odors, degrade antibiotics, reduce emissions that contribute to climate change among a host of other benefits.
