Marc Bamuthi Joseph

Renowned spoken word artist, dancer and arts activist Marc Bamuthi Joseph makes his triumphant return to the Union Theater Season this spring. He will perform “The Break/s,” a piece detailing his own personal story in relation to the history of hip-hop. The piece was created during his 2008 residency at UW-Madison. San Francisco Chronicle calls it a “riveting multimedia hip-hop performance.”
