Beyond the Table: Food Justice, Science & Policy

Food is a word that elicits different responses for people, from consideration of culinary tastes to lack of availability, and is ultra important because it is a basic need for human health and livelihood. This workshop will feature experts who will lead discussion on a number of relevant topics and shine a light on issues that affect everyday people related to food security and insecurity, particularly in how access is disproportionate based on demographics.
