Dutch recorder virtuosa Marion Verbruggen joins string ensemble Quicksilver for a stimulating mix of solos, duos, trios and full-ensemble pieces by Italian composers of the 17th century. Pre-concert lecture by Stefania Buccini at 6:30 p.m., "The Purgatory of Books: The Index Librorum Prohibitorum and Galileo's Times."
