Outstanding Women of Color Awards

The annual Outstanding Women of Color Awards acknowledge and honor women of color among UW–Madison’s faculty, staff, students (undergraduate or post-baccalaureate) and in the greater Madison community who have made outstanding contributions to the community in many areas.

UW–Madison established the award in 2007 following in the footsteps of the UW System, which launched the Outstanding Women of Color in Education Awards in 1994.
