Writing Center Class

Many institutions ask for a “teaching philosophy” or “research philosophy” as part of a job application. During this class we will talk about what statements of teaching and research philosophy are (or ought to be), what they should include, and what they should look like. We will also examine sample statements and consider what the experts recommend. Please sign up online.
