Cinematheque: FESPACO Series

Our series of FESPACO-winning short films starts with Article 15 bis (Congo) which examines the abuse of power by private guards (15 min.). Fanta Regina Nacro's (The Night of the Truth) award-winning film Bintou is next. It is about a mother who decides to send her daughter to school against her husband’s wishes (31 min.). Our last film Menged takes place in Ethopia where a lot can happen on the long way to the market in the countryside (20 min.). All films are English subtitled.
