The RACI Matrix and Communications Plan: Two Tools to Help Bring Clarity to Your Project Teams
Presented by Theresa Lins, multisite project manager, Wisconsin Network for Health Research and the Midwest Area Research Consortium for Health

Content level: introductory

Navigating complex projects with many different stakeholders requires a clear understanding of responsibilities and how project information will be communicated. RACI (responsible, accountable, consulted, and informed) matrices and communication plans are two tools that can help provide a structured approach to prevent duplication of effort and confusion. In this session, you’ll learn how to develop and use both these tools, ensuring that everyone involved in a project knows what’s expected of them, including how, when, and with whom to share project information.
