Join us to celebrate UW-Madison’s official FIRST day of class with free cake and ice cream. On February 5, 1849 20 students gathered in UW’s temporary quarters near the capitol. We invite our 50,000+ students to swing by Memorial Union or your favorite housing dining hall to grab a sweet treat.
