Hear from medical oncologist, Mark Albertini, MD as he highlights the latest research and treatment benefitting melanoma patients, including canine friends. This presentation is held in conjunction with UW Carbone Cancer Center’s 50th Anniversary Open House. The event will be held at the Health Sciences Learning Center (UW School of Medicine and Public Health, 750 Highland Avenue). It is free and open to any community member.
Free parking near the Health Sciences Learning Center is available in Lot 82 and Lot 60. Paid parking is available for visitors in Lot 76, which is adjacent to Nielsen Tennis Stadium.
This event is part of the 2024 Science Expeditions. Science Expeditions is an annual public event that invites the community to interact with researchers, visit science venues, participate in interactive exploration stations, and more. This year's Science Expeditions, which takes places during UW–Madison's 175th anniversary, is co-hosted with the 175th community open house.
