Changes in jet stream behaviors have been found because of our warming world, though the waviness of jets has not been widely investigated in the Southern Hemisphere. Hence, the Southern Hemisphere wintertime polar and subtropical jets’ evolution, especially with respect to their waviness, within the past century is examined in this thesis.
