Description
The collection and use of sound, like that of all kinds of human-related data, allows for the creation of inferences and predictions about individuals and communities, which can modify behavior because of the perception of constant surveillance. Sonic data are already being used to identify us, to infer our emotions, and to assess our integrity. What can we do about the collection, processing, and sale of some of our most intimate data and the inferences connected to it?
