Fun Fall Birding

Join enthusiastic guide Chuck Henrikson for a family-friendly educational bird outing. A wonderful variety of migrating birds visit the lakeshore to feed and rest. University Bay is famous for waterfowl during spring and fall migration. We will look for and learn about white tundra swans, beautiful buffleheads, comical coots, tiny grebes, diving mergansers and calling loons. We will also look for year-round resident birds. Walk may be followed by hot chocolate and s'mores.
