This talk examines a unique fossil assemblage from a locality within the Koobi Fora Formation, dated between approximately 1.9 and 1.5 million years ago. This assemblage, which includes over 1,000 mammal fossils, stone tools, hominin remains, and butchery marks, offers critical insights into early hominin carcass acquisition and processing behaviors.
