Dr. James McCarty will lead an informal conversation on Faith-Based Community Organizing, Peacebuilding and Religious Conflict Transformation.
He is an editor of the books The Business of War and the soon-to-be released The Business of Incarceration, which critically examine the ways neoliberal capitalism has turned injustice and violence into big business. He has experience as a minister, chaplain, community organizer, and peacebuilder in California, Georgia, Washington, and East Africa.
