Presented by Matilde Cachiguango Muenala, Aida Inuca, and David Kiefer, M.D.

In this presentation, the speakers will review their background & interest in medicinal plants, both those that are found locally or commonly in the US, & some examples from Andean Ecuador. The speakers will discuss nettles, mullein, & dandelion as examples of plants with varied & important healing properties. Also, a discussion of the interaction between Western medicine and traditional medicine and how they overlap.
