Description
Whether at a conference, at a party, or in a literal elevator, it is a skill to introduce your research succinctly and accessibly. What are you studying, and why does it matter? At this mini-workshop, you will learn basic elements of an elevator pitch, identify your core message, and practice your pitch. Through interactive activities and peer feedback, you will have a chance not only to craft a persuasive pitch, but also to hear pitches from other graduate students across campus.
