Joann Peck, Wisconsin School of Business Associate Department of Marketing, will present "Please Touch the Merchandise: How Your Sense of Touch Can Influence Your Purchase Decisions." Peck will provide an overview of her research regarding haptics, or the sense of touch. Peck will introduce a framework that involves consumers' motivation to touch products prior to purchase and explain some key results from her research.
