China's sweeping territorial claims in the South China Sea has continued to drive tensions in the region with its Southeast Asian neighbors, namely Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Taiwan, and Vietnam.
Kevin Kelly, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and a retired Navy Reserve officer specializing in military operational law and international law issues, will unpack this territorial dispute from the perspective of maritime law.
