Description
With some 29 GRAMMY and Latin GRAMMY awards between them, Chucho Valdés and Paquito D’Rivera are each a legend in their own right. It’s easy to forget their humble beginnings in 1960s Havana, when none other than Dizzy Gillespie brought international attention to their innovative big band Irakere, where both were founding members. After that, the rest is history. Maintaining a 60-year friendship but pulled in different directions and, at times, different countries by fabled careers, the two reunited for the 2022 album I Miss You Too and launched their once-in-a-lifetime tour with the Chucho Valdés & Paquito D’Rivera Reunion Sextet. Don’t miss out on this concert event that will be one for the history books.
