Paul Tveite, from Google's Madison office, will be giving a presentation Thursday, October 2 3:30-4:30pm.
Paul graduated from UW-Madison with a Ph.D. in Mathematical Logic in 2017. Before starting at Google in January of 2018 he had some self-study and a handful of undergrad Comp Sci courses worth of programming experience. He'll be talking about what working at Google is like, what skills and background you should pursue, and how you should prepare for applying and interviewing for a tech job.
