Description
Paper:
Quake: Adaptive Indexing for Vector Search
Abstract:
In this talk we will talk about Quake, an adaptive indexing system for vector search. Quake is a partitioned index that dynamically adapts the index to only changes to the dataset but also changes in the workload queries. Quake is guided by a cost model that predicts query latency based on index partition size and access frequencies. Quake also utilizes a NUMA aware execution model to saturate memory bandwidth during query processing.
