Description
Tribal Nations have continuously exercised their sovereignty to support
the health of their peoples and lands, which they have long recognized
as intertwined. Colonialism and attempted genocide have disrupted
many traditional Indigenous lifeways and governance structures,
causing health inequities such high rates of cancer, diabetes, heart
disease, and disproportionate exposures to climate disasters and
environmental health harms. Join Mia Hammersley Montoya,
Director of Climate Justice.
