This lecture situates Cooper’s Ferry within this trans-Pacific context, considers the potential of submerged coastal landscapes along the northern Pacific Rim to preserve the earliest archaeological sites, and highlights new efforts to 3D model Late Upper Paleolithic and American Upper Paleolithic bifacial technologies in Japan and North America.
