Sam Kimball, AOS graduate student, will defend his MS thesis and discuss a novel budget closure method that is tested and applied to the Planetary Boundary Layer (PBL) morning transition using ground-based remote sensing instruments at the Department of Energy Atmospheric Radiation Measurement Southern Great Plains (SGP) site.
