Mini Relief Prints Workshop with Christie Tirado

In this introduction to block printing workshop, participants will get an overview of the process for making a single-color relief print.

Description
You will design and carve a 3”x4” relief block, apply ink to it, and then hand-print the plate with a barren to create a textured graphic print. We will be using easy to carve plates, and a variety of safe-wash inks to print our pieces. This class is for anyone interested in learning more about the relief printmaking process. All supplies and tools will be provided.
