Elizabeth Barnes is a Professor of Philosophy at the University of Virginia. She works on ethics, metaphysics, social and political philosophy, and feminist philosophy – and is particularly interested in the areas these subjects interact. Major publications include a book on disability (The Minority Body, 2016) and a book on the nature of health (Health Problems, 2023). She received her PhD from the University of St. Andrews.
