Join the Department of Sociology's REM (Race, Ethnicity and/or Migration) Workshop as Dr. David Stovall visits UW-Madison's campus. David Stovall is a professor in the departments of Black Studies and Criminology, Law & Justice at the University of Illinois Chicago. He is the author of Engineered Conflict: Structural Violence and the Future of Black Life in Chicago (January 2026, Haymarket Books).
