Founded in 2016 by veteran jazz pianist Renee Rosen as an all-star combo of virtuosos to celebrate International Women’s Day, ARTEMIS has gone well beyond proving the capability of women in a male-dominated field. Fresh off the release of its third album,  ARBORESQUE , and a very popular performance on NPR’s Tiny Desk, the multigenerational, multinational group continues to win over new fans with savvy compositions, inspiring improvisations, and a “cliché-free individuality and congenial collective spirit” ( The Guardian ).
