Description
The conference occurs in conjunction with the Wisconsin Book Festival (October 7-11). It is the first reunion of editors from 8 Cartonera publishing houses in Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Bolivia, Peru, Mexico and Chile. The cartoneras are writers & artists who interested in reconfiguring the conditions in which literary art is produced and consumed. They came up with a progressive new publishing model that challenges the neo-liberal political and economic hegemony. No registration required.
