Donate to help alleviate the current blood shortage and raise sickle cell awareness

Description

Your blood can save lives. Donate at this blood drive at the UW South Madison Partnership (UWSMP, 2238 S. Park St, Villager Mall) and give the gift of life. Those who give will receive a $20 Amazon Gift Card and a free movie ticket of choice by email, as well as a Sickle Cell Fighter T-Shirt. Light breakfast will be provided to nourish you before you give.

Appointments strongly encouraged. Schedule yours today online or by calling 1-800-RED CROSS. Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are welcome!

Give blood and stay for the picnic: The free Unity Picnic will be held just outside of UWSMP and the Black Business Hub from 12 to 4 pm on July 25.

Blood drive sponsors include the African American Opioid Coalition, Urban League of Greater Madison, Alpha Kappa Alpha, Alpha Phi Alpha, Sickle Cell Warriors, Block K.A.R.E., African American Health Network of Dane County, The Foundation for Black Women's Wellness, AACC, The Links Incorporated, and more.
