In this year celebrating America at 250, author and civics education pioneer Professor Paul Carrese will discuss reflective patriotism as an indispensable civic virtue, one that is necessary to teach and essential to sustaining our constitutional democratic republic.

Paul Carrese is Director of the Center for American Civics and founding director and professor of the School of Civic & Economic Thought and Leadership (SCETL) at Arizona State University.
