Description
Ian Eisenman, professor at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography, UC San Diego, will explore Arctic amplification, a phenomenon typically attributed to albedo and lapse-rate feedbacks, the latter of which is thought to arise from a strong polar-night inversion that traps warming near the surface.
