Once you take this course and feel like you know how to use this kayak we can add your name to the short list of people who can use this boat and serve and an aide for those who want to use it. Upon completion of this class, participants will: Know the history of adaptive kayaking Learn a little more about how this boat came into the possession of Hoofers/Outdoor UW Learn about the checkout system for this boat Get hands-on experience with this boat and all of the features --- Class is located in the Mendota Lodge on the water level of Memorial Union (along the lakefront and across from the Outdoor UW office) ---- *** If you are a person with a disability needing reasonable accommodation for this course, please contact Dan Dunne, ddunne@wisc.edu *** This course is open to all- no Hoofer membership required!
