The talk is based on approximately 800 pages of unpublished correspondence between the Jewish philosopher and musician Evsei Davidovich Shor and the Protestant writer and publisher Rudolf Roessler. The correspondence focuses on the early years of the publishing house during 1930s.
This event is part of the CREECA Lecture Series and Co-sponsored by CREECA, the Center for German and European Studies, the Department of German, Nordic, and Slavic+, and the Mosse/Weinstein Center for Jewish Studies.
