Ten years after the 2016 decision to deploy the U.S. Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) system in South Korea, the move caused controversy and continues to have repercussions for U.S.-China-Korea relations. CEAS is partnering with the Law School's East Asian Legal Studies Center to hold a panel discussion to discuss regional security, law, international relations, and socio-cultural implications.
