An award-winning Puerto Rican poet, educator, and translator, and the 2018–19 Poet Laureate of Philadelphia, Salas Rivera will present a public lecture engaging themes that animate a wide-ranging body of bilingual poetry and translation, including migration, colonialism, memory, language, and Puerto Rican belonging.
