Andrew Wyatt, University of Illinois at Chicago, will de discussing Pre-Columbian agriculture at the Mayan site of Chan, Belize, addressing how these agricultural systems were organized and managed; how the food produced was distributed within and between communities; and how farmers operated within the local and regional political economy.
