This two-day symposium will bring together scholars from Europe and the US to explore transatlantic transfers of knowledge in the areas of home remedies and pharmaceuticals, naturopathy and exercise, midwifery, and medical treatment. The symposium concludes with an exhibit of archival materials from the collections of the Max Kade Institute and the American Institute of the History of Pharmacy.
