Description
Ms. Thai will be in Madison as part of the Wisconsin Book Festival (WBF), where she is a featured author. Her recent novel, "The Seekers of Deer Creek," moves from Wisconsin to France to Việt Nam to tell the story of two sisters trying to understand their family history.
Her campus event (the day before her WBF book talk) will be a conversation with UW-Madison Southeast Asian Studies Professor Nhu Trong on writing about Vietnamese heritage.
