In honor of Professor Francis Halzen, 2026 Nobel laureate in physics

Celebrate Francis Halzen, recipient of the 2026 Nobel Prize in physics, on Friday, Oct. 23.
Beginning at 2:30 p.m., a fireside chat between Halzen and interim Chancellor Eric Wilcots, plus a panel discussion featuring IceCube experts will be livestreamed for a watch party on the Memorial Union Terrace, as well as watch parties at the Rathskeller in Memorial Union and at the Sett in Union South. Following the livestream, join Halzen and special guests at 4 p.m. at the Terrace for a reception and continued celebration.
