Description
Join us in the Disability Cultural Center for a screening of Being Heumann, the film adaptation of Judy Heumann’s book, Being Heumann: An Unrepentant Memoir of a Disability Rights Activist. The film focuses on the historic 28-day occupation of San Francisco's Federal Building in 1977, uniting protesters in a fight for accessibility laws and equal rights. Pizza and snacks will be provided!
