Guest Artist Series

This Grammy-nominated woodwind quintet has forged a distinct path in the classical music world, commissioning and programming repertoire that highlights a variety of cultural identities. Imani tours nationally and internationally and has performed with jazz artists Wayne Shorter and Paquito D'Rivera and collaborated with bassist/trombonist Chris Brubeck. For its Mills Hall debut, the quintet performs works by Gyorgy Ligeti, Lalo Schifrin, Julio Medaglia and Paquito D'Rivera.
