Presented by NAVE Visiting Scholar Jeffrey Quilter, curator at Harvard’s Peabody Museum and senior lecturer in anthropology. The empirical foundations of his work derive from a series of field projects in Peru and Costa Rica. His current research examines an early colonial church and associated settlement set in the heart of the ancient Moche site, Huaca El Brujo.
