Global Health Seminar Series

William Ryerson, founder and president of the Population Media Center, will discuss how some of the world's most intractable health issues are now being addressed through the medium of soap operas amd are leading to population-wide changes in behavior. He will offer an overview of Social Change Communications, discuss PMC's projects, and describe new results from PMC's programs in Ethiopia and Nigeria that show major changes in social norms in response to PMC's broadcasts.
