Capoeira Batizado and Troca de Cordas

Capoeira is a 400-year-old martial art that blends music, dance, singing and acrobatics. Originating in Africa, Capoeira developed in Brazil by African slaves who disguised their training as song and dance. In practice, members arrange in a circle, play instruments and sing songs while two people play capoeira in the center of the circle. Today, Capoeira is practiced around the world.
