Portals to an Architecture

In May 2006, College of Engineering alumnus Steve Preston saw months of collaboration, calculation and hard work come to fruition in a temporary installation of giant, intertwined paper-tube arches on Engineering Mall. He documented the project — his Master’s research — and a selection of the photos will be on display in the Wendt Gallery through Dec. 31. Preston will give a special talk on the Portals project for Engineers' Day today (Friday), Oct. 16.
