LA Bus Riders Union

For the last 20 years transit planners have often designed rail lines whose cost includes cutting bus service and raising bus fares. The LA Bus Riders Union successfully won a court order against such practice, but that court order ran out in 2006. Since then, the same practice has started again. We show a film of the early struggle followed by a short called "The Legion of Doom" regarding recent plans for a subway in Los Angeles.
