William Strauss, senior economist, Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, will discuss projections for the trajectory of the U.S. economy in 2010, major risks and obstacles to recovery, and the role of key Midwestern business sectors in reigniting economic growth. Dean Michael Knetter, Wisconsin School of Business, will discuss the international trade implications of stimulus packages implemented by governments around the world and comment on the prospects for an export-led U.S. economic recovery.
